Translation memory
Translation Memory is a tool that increases efficiency by allowing the reuse of previously translated phrases and terms. It used to save cost and keep consistency of terminology.
100 % sentence matches may occur if the terminology used in a new document is very similar to the terminology used in previous documents (which is stored in our TM database), then the 100 % matches sentences could be reused in the new document. Of course, all 100% matches will be checked by an editor to ensure that the translation is correct in the new context.
Fuzzy matches is partial matches of previously translated documents, means parts of a sentence previously translated and found in the TM database can be pre–translated in the new document.
